Tourism sector in Tanzania shall continue to grow better as promotions like this of EU embraces its prosperity.
So EU through European Development fund (EDF) supports Tanzania cultural heritage development by funding the programme with Eur 10 million to strengthen it.
The programe Officer for Economics and Governance Section at the Delegation of the EU to Tanzania, Ms Alexa du Plessis said that, "Tanzania, although leading in the tourism sector , still has a long way to go in building a strong arts and culture industry"
Tanzania is projected to attract over 8 million visitors per year by 2025.
By now Tanzania peaks complements to being among the top destinations in Africa as some of the International media have dedicated Tanzania as best, to mention a few; the US travel and Leisure Magazine named Tanzania being among the 2016 annual best places to visit, the Geographic Magazine had mentioned Serengeti and Mt. Kilimanjaro national park as the two greatest parks in the world, New York Times had mentioned Tanzania among the 52 places to go in year 2016, Fox channel lay out Tanzania being among the best African destination.
